What a great day! I feel like everything is falling into place here in Seattle. Lots of changes in the next few days! 🙂
“I release into the universe my trust that my journey in life and all who walk my path with me are there by divine design. Therefore, I trust that along this path, others will always be there for me, even when I cannot see them waiting for me. And I open myself to be of service to those who may provide me the gift of empowerment.”
– Caroline Myss
Well, I have finally gotten settled in Seattle. It’s been a crazy past couple weeks, but now the serious job search begins. Aright Universe, I’m ready.
“Though we can’t always see it at the time, if we look upon events with some perspective, we see things always happen for our best interest. We are always being guided in a way better than we know ourselves.” – Swami Satchidananda
My Alaskan journey is finally coming to an end. It has been a crazy year. Moving home was a hard thing to do in the first place, but it proven to be such a good life changing experience. It has allowed me to be able to spend a lot of time with my family and as I get older it will become even harder to get us all together. I have built some new great friendships and strengthened others. It allowed Seth to come up here, get off the grid and have an Alaskan adventure of his own. I have loved to watching Seth and my family grow strong lifelong relationships. It has been one of many learning experiences for Seth and I, but we have learned so much about each other and are coming out of Alaska stronger than we ever have before.
I am so excited to build our new life in Seattle!
I’m following my heart! Seattle here I come!
Such a good reminder. I am the perfect example of being the person who gets into a groove and becomes afraid of big changes. I constantly remind myself that the best things that have happened in my life have been out of my comfort zone. So stop being afraid and just jump! You never know where you’ll end up.
Flying. Now thats something I’m familiar with! I practically grew up in the back seat of our Cessna 170. As a baby, mom would stick my carseat in the back of the plane and teach a lesson. I have always felt so comfortable in the air, but I never thought I would have a time in my life that I would be able to dedicate to seriously learning.
The first thing people ask when I tell them my mom is a flight instructor is, “You have your license right?” Who isn’t smart enough to capitalize on that situation, right?! Well, in the last 26 years, the time has never been quite right. From high school activities, to college, to full time jobs, the schedules never really could match up – until now. With all those years flying from the right side, last night I was able to have my first lesson from the left seat! I have a lot of learning to do, but I am going to try my hardest to solo before Seth and I embark on our next adventure.
Over and out.
Seth and I had a wonderful trip to Denali on the train this weekend! It was so relaxing to have 8 hrs just to spend enjoying scenery, reading books, chatting with the tourists and having cocktails. Another amazing trip for the books. More photos will be posted soon!
